King of Love

The king of love my shepherd is, whose goodness never faileth
I nothing lack if I am His, and He is mine forever
Where streams of living water flow, my ransom soul He leadeth
From heights above to cavern low, with constant love He feedeth

Corrupt and foolish oft I strayed, yet in His love He sought me
And on His shoulders gently laid, He brought me home rejoicing
In death’s dark vale, I fear no ill, with Thee, dear Lord, beside me
Thy rod and staff my comfort still, the cross before to guide me

Thou set a table in my sight, abundant grace bestoweth
All of Thy kindness, my delight, from heaven’s storehouse floweth
And so through all the length of days, Thy goodness faileth never
Good Shepherd may I sing Thy praise, within Thy house forever
And so through all the length of days, Thy goodness faileth never
Good Shepherd may I sing Thy praise, within Thy house forever

My lips will praise, oh King of Love
Who sealed my heart for realms above
In sin and shame came mercy’s flood
I run to You, oh King of Love

My lips will praise, oh King of Love
Who sealed my heart for realms above
In sin and shame came mercy’s flood
I run to You, oh King of Love

My lips will praise, oh King of Love
Who sealed my heart for realms above
In sin and shame came mercy’s flood
I run to You, oh King of Love
