My feet won’t move
I cannot speak a word
I can’t believe
What I’ve seen and heard
For here I am
A shepherd with His lambs
But angels sang to me a simple man
The echoes of their singing
Now are gone
Yet the memory of the words
Still lingers on
Good news has come to every man
I must see this Child of Bethlehem
Who is this One the angels will adore?
Is this the Child that all the world’s
Been waiting for?
Who is this One? Who is this One?
We’ve longed for all these years
Oh, could it be? Is it He?
Just a baby in this simple place
Yet I tremble when I look upon His face
We’ve dreamed for year
Of how the King would come
Will anyone believe this is the One?
When I think of all that He must do
The suffering and the shame
He must go through
These little feet, these tiny hands
Must bear the weight
And pain of every man
Who is this One On the manger floor?
Is this the Child that all the world’s
Been waiting for?
Who is this One? Who is this One?
We’ve longed for all these years
Oh, could it be?
Could it be? Is it He?
It is He!
